Luang Prabang International Half Marathon 2026
The Luang Prabang Half Marathon 2026 – Run for Children is more than just a race; it is a celebration of fitness, community, and compassion in one of Southeast Asia’s most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage cities.
The event will bring together thousands of runners from Laos and around the world to support the Lao Friends Hospital for Children, helping provide essential healthcare services for children in Northern Laos.
Starting from the Royal Palace, participants will run through the historic streets of Luang Prabang, past golden temples and along the scenic Mekong and Nam Khan rivers, while contributing to a meaningful charitable cause. With race categories including 21 km, 14 km, and 7 km, the event welcomes both competitive athletes and recreational runners, making it a unique opportunity to combine personal achievement with social impact.
